www.uidai.gov.in | Aadhar Card Status – UID Card Status for Not Received Aadhaar Card and My UIDAI Status Enquiry by www.uidai.gov.in for Aadhaar Card

I was registered for Aadhar Card on 24th September, 2011. But still I have not received my UID Card. I reside in Delhi. Today, I decided to check my Aadhar Card status. I searched official website, www.uidai.gov.in, for Aadhar Card.

At first I tried to know about UID Card (what is Aadhar Card?). It is a 12 digit individual identification number. It is issued by Unique Identification Authority of India on the behalf of the Government of India.

What is the Importance of Aadhar Card?

  • Aadhar number will serve as a proof of identification and address across India.
  • Aadhar number will be unique for each individual.
  • It will remain valid for lifetime.

How to Enroll for Aadhaar Card?

  • Aadhaar enrollment is free for everyone
  • Go to authorized Aadhaar enrollment centre anywhere in India with identity and address proof
  • Documents for UIDAI - 18 PoI (Proof of Identity) and 33 PoA (Proof of Address)
  • Check the details of supporting documents here: http://www.uidai.gov.in/images/FrontPageUpdates/valid_documents_list.pdf
  • You need to carry PAN Card or Government ID cards for Identity Proof
  • You need to carry Water/Electricity/Telephone bills from the last 3 months for Address Proof

Aadhar Card Online Registration in Delhi:

There is a process to get appointment for Aadhaar enrollment online in Delhi only. You need to visit: appointments.uidai.gov.in and fill the basic details to get appointment for Aadhaar card registration.

How to Check Aadhaar Card Status?

Visit: www.uidai.gov.in/check-your-aadhaar-status.html and click over “Check Your Aadhaar Status to get access for portal.uidai.gov.in/uidwebportal/enrolmentStatusShow.do online. You need to enter your 14 digits enrollment number and date/time of enrollment to check UID status.

UID Card Status for Not Received Aadhar Card:

People having Aadhaar enrollment can check their status of not received Aadhar card at: portal.uidai.gov.in/uidwebportal/enrolmentStatusShow.do visiting: www.uidai.gov.in and entering their 14 digits enrollment number and date/time of enrollment number. They can see their UID card status. They can see the reason of not received Aadhaar card also.

UID Aadhaar Application Form:

People can get Aadhar Application Form visiting any UID centre across India. They have to fill the Aadhar Application Form and submit with the supporting documents.

UID Biometric Data:

Aadhaar Enrollment Form is accepted with the biometric information. You have to sit on a chair in front of a computer to give the data of facial image, iris – both eyes and finger prints of all fingers. Data of both Thumbs will also be captured.

My UIDAI Status Enquiry by www.uidai.gov.in for Aadhaar Card:

I had a receipt/acknowledgement copy of my Aadhaar enrollment printed with 14 digits enrolment number and date/time. The receipt was generated by Data Soft Computer Services (P) for UID Card on the behalf of Unique Identification Authority of India, Government of India.

Name of official website: www.uidai.gov.in for UID status enquiry was printed on the slip. I just went through: www.uidai.gov.in to check my Aadhaar card status. There was an email ID, phone number and address also. But still I have not contacted by phone or email ID.

At first, I thought to check my Aadhar status by www.uidai.gov.in. So, click over “Check your Aadhaar Status” visiting: www.uidai.gov.in and entered 14 digits enrollment number and date/time.

    Aadhar is a very good project from the Indian Govt. I do appreciate efforts made for it. We all should take interest in this new project as it is a beneficial scheme for the people of India.
