Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct Common Written Examination (CWE) 2011 for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees in 19 Public Sector Banks on 27th November, 2011. Banks which candidates can join after passing the IPBS CWE Clerk 2011 :- Allahabad Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India , Punjab & Sind Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Central Bank of India, United Bank of India, Corporation Bank, UCO Bank, Dena Bank, Vijaya Bank, Indian Bank.
IBPS CWE Clerk Scorecard and Qualifying Marks :-
Any person who wants to join the above listed banks as a Clerk or that cadre will be required to take the CWE Clerk examination conducted by IBPS. Candidates who participate in CWE can check their status after the examination. Score cards will be issued and send the same by Registered/ Speed post to each candidate at the correspondence address to those candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in each test.
- Cutoff Score :- For General category candidates, Average - 1/4 Standard Deviation and For Reserved Category candidates Average - 3/4 Standard Deviation.
- Validity of IBPS CWE Score Card:- IBPS CWE Score Cards will be valid for one year from the date of its issuance, candidates can appear in the examination how many times they want.
Recruitment / Jobs after passing IBPS CWE Clerk 2011 :- Passing CWE examination is not a recruitment confirmation from the participating banks. Each of the above mentioned banks will issue a separate recruitment notification, specifying their vacancies and stipulating the eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification, experience (if any), minimum required level of IBPS score. Successful candidates in the CWE can apply directly for Interview and Group Discussions. Banks will shortlist candidates for final selection on the basis of their academic record, CWE score and performance in GD/Interview.
